A warm welcome to
Maverick Minds ADHD Coaching.

You may be here because you’ve been diagnosed with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). And you’re wondering, “what now?”

I understand – I have been there too. Through ADHD coaching, I can help you recognize your individual ADHD characteristics and the challenges they bring to your daily life.

In a collaborative, supportive partnership – without judgment – I will guide you with strategies and techniques to achieve your goals, whether personal or professional.

ADHD is so much more than losing your car keys and struggling with procrastination. It’s a serious condition that can affect your abilities to reason and function in every part of your life.
ADHD Symptoms & Effects

Medically speaking, ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder. At Maverick Minds ADHD Coaching, my way of explaining it is your brain is wired differently. Not better or worse – just different.

Traits that can be problematic include difficulty concentrating, getting easily distracted, being forgetful and losing things – a lot. Perhaps your mind races, you have ruminating thoughts, you’re excessively impatient and restless, and at times you’re impulsive?

Left unmanaged, ADHD can hold you back and even ruin your life. It can cause you to drop out of school, be unsuccessful at work, have financial issues, fail at relationships, develop obsessive behaviours and abuse substances. At the very least, you may experience feelings of guilt, anxiety, frustration, depression and being misunderstood.

ADHD can mean you:
  • never feel good enough

  • feel different to those around you

  • distrust other people

  • have to fight to feel heard in a world that blames you

  • blame the world, even if some of your pain is self-inflicted

  • want to listen, but are unable hear through a lifetime of judgment

  • don’t learn from your mistakes

  • are consistently inconsistent

  • resort to risk taking and thrill seeking

  • live with never-ending moodiness

  • never live up to your potential

The Power of a Maverick Mind
On the other hand, there are some positive things about ADHD too. Perhaps you are creative, energetic, resilient, highly intuitive, quick-witted and great in a crisis? Many people with ADHD are extraordinary innovators, visionaries and leaders.
If you have a maverick mind, you may be an independent thinker, a rebel, courageous, and someone who doesn’t follow the herd or stick to the rules. In our coaching sessions, we will explore how you can use these amazing qualities to your advantage, and tone down your less-ideal ADHD traits.
Benefits of ADHD Coaching

ADHD/ADD coaching is a collaborative process that will guide you forward in life by creating strategies, structures and supports.

Our coaching sessions will be personalized to address what’s at stake for you, and continuously build on your strengths and successes.

The objective is not to cure your ADHD or “fix” you, but to identify your goals, face your obstacles, and address ADHD-related issues such as prioritization, time management and self-confidence.

ADHD Coach Antony Hart

Antony Hart trained at ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA), which is internationally recognized as the global leader in ADHD coach training and education.

Based in Calgary, he started his coaching career after learning he himself had ADHD. This happened soon after his son was diagnosed with the condition.

While researching the characteristics of ADHD to help his son, Antony noticed he shared many of them. His own diagnosis brought him tremendous clarity, and helped explain much of what he’d experienced from childhood through to adulthood. It also ignited his passion to help others in the same situation.

Antony is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD).

“I was diagnosed with ADHD later in life, as an adult. Antony is insightful and knowledgeable, and offers solutions for daily life. He is an asset to people who struggle with ADHD challenges.”
